It is my great honor and pleasure to welcome you all to the 2023 IWA Resource Recovery Conference. As the Chair of this esteemed event, I will be excited to see the wealth of knowledge and experience that each and every one of you brings to the table.

This conference is a unique opportunity for us all to come together, for the first time after the tough period of COVID-19, and share our insights on the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in resource recovery. With the ever-increasing demand for sustainable solutions, our collective efforts in this field have never been more important.

The theme of this conference is ‘Resource Recovery—From concept to reality’. We will be engaging in thought-provoking discussions, informative presentations, and interactive workshops that will challenge our thinking and inspire us to action. Our goal is to not only expand our knowledge, but also to forge meaningful connections and collaborations that will drive progress in this vital area. Together, we can make a real difference in creating a more sustainable future for generations to come.
